Transferring your other super fund into Vision Super? You’ve made a great choice to go with an industry super fund that’s run to benefit you, our members.
Transferring your insurance cover over from your other fund is a good move too – most Australians are underinsured, and although none of us like to think about it, knowing you or your family would be ok without your income can give you peace of minds.
You can transfer your cover online just like you can with your super savings. We've made the process as simple as possible for you.
Just three simple steps to transfer your cover:
1 Complete this Insurance transfer form.
2 Attach a statement from your other super fund that shows your current insurance cover – your cover needs to be active and we will need to receive the statement within 6 months of it being issued. Generally if you don’t have a current statement, you can just call your other super fund and ask them to send you one.
3 We'll soon be in touch to advise that your application has been successful before you transfer your super balance and/or cancel your previous cover – acceptance of your transfer is subject to our insurer, MLC Life Insurance, accepting the transfer of your insurance cover and some limitations do apply.

If your application is successful, you will receive an amount of cover equivalent to the cover that you have with your other fund. Death and/or TPD insurance cover will be on top of any cover you already have with Vision Super, but income protection cover will replace your current Vision Super income protection cover if you currently have insurance cover with us.
